DENTAL CHANNEL TREATMENT
It is a treatment method in cases where the nerve in the inner part of the tooth cannot be healed or died due to caries or trauma. It is the process of removing the nerves inside the teeth, forming the channels in the teeth roots, removing the microorganisms and then filling the expanded channels. Then, according to the loss of matter to the upper part of the tooth, it is treated like filler and porcelain and the aesthetic and functional continuity of the tooth is ensured.
In the initial stage, if the caries is not treated, it can progress to the nerve of the tooth and cause inflammation here. In this case, canal treatment should be performed. During the crown bridge restorations, the tooth’s nerve may be exposed. This may cause severe pain and may require canal treatment. In some cases, traumatic teeth may require canal treatment.
