TREATMENT OF DENTAL DISEASES
Treatment in the early period of gum disease involves removing plaque and teeth on the teeth and providing a smooth root surface. This process allows the removal of bacteria that cause inflammation in the gums. Usually, this treatment is sufficient to adapt the gum to the tooth or to eliminate the gum by contracting the gum. In the majority of cases during the early period of gum disease, daily effective oral care is sufficient for a successful treatment, after the removal of the teeth, removal of the plaque and a proper root surface. More advanced cases may require surgical treatment. The aim of this treatment is to clean the teeth in the deep periodontal pockets surrounding the teeth, to eliminate the contraction of the pocket and to provide a smooth root surface and to form a more easily cleanable gum form.
